Ross Perot endorses Mitt Romney
From the Washington Post Blog:
“At stake is nothing less than our position in the world, our standard of living at home, and our constitutional freedoms,” Perot wrote in a statement. “Mitt has the background, experience, intelligence, and integrity to turn things around.”
Really Ross, our constitutional freedoms are at stake? Like the Bush administration didn’t take most of them away already and the Obama administration is busily working to take away the rest. You really think that Mitt “I do whatever my donors want” Romney is going to really abolish homeland security, the patriot act and all the other institutions of the police state that have already taken our constitutional freedoms?
Please! It’s way too lucrative and empowering for the wealthy oligarchy. Sounds to me like Ross Perot is getting so far up there in age that he has gone senile. Maybe I’ll call him up and tell him I have some premium real estate to sell in him in America’s 51st state. What a moron!
And you really think Romney can overturn the laws of thermodynamics, physics and geology to deliver the vast amounts of cheap, high quality fossil fuels that would be needed to sustain our standard of living….our way of life.
And lastly Ross, you really…really think that Mitt “shoot first and ask questions later” Romney is going to restore our position in the world? If anything, Romeny and his warmongering Republicans will send us on the expressway to destitution and despair.
For those who are confused by the corporate media propaganda out there, this election is a simple choice between re-electing Bush III or electing Bush IV. No matter which one gets in office, the police state will remain. The economy will continue to deteriorate because the issues affecting it are now predicaments, not problems with policy solutions.
The differences are as follows.
Re-elect Bush III:
Continue to muddle along the bumpy plateau of peak oil, never making any sudden moves to accidentally set off a crisis. Any crises that pop up b/c of some one else, the administration will try and sweep them under the rug. A few pathetic attempts to try and slow the growing economic inequality in this country. Obama will continue to engage in resource wars under the guise of humanitarian aid and international agreement. In short try and maintain the status quo for four more years.
Elect Bush IV:
And you get in the fast lane to permanent Third World status. Rapidly accelerating economic inequality with a permanently entrenched uber-wealthy elite and the rest of us struggling to survive with no support. The economy will focus on Wall Street and increased reckless extraction of unconventional fossil fuels. These fuels will be sold off to the highest bidders, not for use by the bankrupt, former middle class of America. The federal government will be restructured to only provide corporate welfare and a suffocating security apparatus domestically; while the military will engage in all out naked aggression against resource rich enemies such as Iran.
Have fun deciding between those two outcomes on election day folks!
Oh and Ross, why don’t you take some of your billions of dollars and buy a fucking clue! Moron!
